Advice Now Plus is a Lottery-funded partnership of eight not-for-profit information and advice organisations in Kensington and Chelsea.

Organisations involved in giving information and advice on social welfare issues face the challenge of supporting clients’ increasing needs despite decreasing funding.

Advice Now Plus is exploring new ways of collaborating, supporting organisations to develop and ensure better outcomes for service users. In this way we aim to ensure advice services and voluntary organisations build resilience and are equipped to meet future needs.

Partnership working

The advice and voluntary sector in Kensington and Chelsea has well developed networks and a culture of collaborative working for the benefit of residents in this area of mixed communities and extremes of poverty and wealth. One of the key ways the sector comes together is through the work of the Social Council and the Advice Forum.

We believe working together in partnership is vital to finding the most effective and long term sustainable way to ensuring our clients get the best advice and outcomes to their cases. Our partnership is made up of organisations with a long history of working with the residents of Kensington and Chelsea, huge amounts of experience and expertise from many years of supporting individuals facing adversity, and empowering local communities.

History: Advice Link

This website was previously known as Advice Link and it grew out of a previous Lottery-funded project in the borough called Advice Now. Advice Now Plus builds on the work of that project.

Advice Link ran a service providing personal advice navigators to people in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. This service was based at Nucleus Legal Advice Centre. You can continue to contact Nucleus on 020 7373 4005, as well as any of our other project partners, for information, advice and support.
